Privacy
What this system holds and how it is handled.
What this is
An internal job-costing system used by Splendid Constructions staff. It is not a public website, it is not indexed by search engines, and it has no customer-facing pages. Access requires an account issued by us.
What it holds
- Staff account details — name, work email address, role, and a hashed password. Passwords are never stored in a readable form.
- Employee cost information — employee records, effective-dated cost rates and timesheet hours, used to cost labour to jobs.
- Accounting data read from Xero — supplier bills, contacts and accounts. The connection holds read-only scopes: this system cannot alter the general ledger.
- An audit log of who changed what, kept so that financial figures can be traced back to a person and a time.
Who can see it
Only Splendid staff with an account, limited by role, plus our accountants and auditors where they need it. Employee pay-rate information is restricted to the roles that need it to produce job costs. We do not sell this information, do not share it for advertising, and do not disclose it outside the business except where the law or an audit requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This system uses strictly necessary cookies only — a sign-in session, and an optional trusted-device record so two-factor authentication is not demanded on every visit. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking in it, and no data leaves our servers to any third party for those purposes. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal.
Security
Served over HTTPS only, under a strict Content-Security-Policy with a per-request nonce. Sign-in is rate-limited and protected by two-factor authentication, and sessions and challenge tokens are purged once they expire.
